I'm a writer, strategist, and consultant. In other words, I am an endlessly curious word nerd and an expert at turning data into stories that sell. I am as comfortable leading a focus group as I am writing a tagline, and I feel lucky that I get to do both.
For over 10 years, my words have been shaping brands across a breadth of industries, from technology to travel to toothpaste.
My formula is simple: scan widely, listen closely, write like it’s going outta style (Hamilton, anyone?). I don’t just pay attention to what a brand is doing, I observe what is happening around it. Cross-category trends. The things stakeholders say in passing or leave unsaid. It works every time.
When I’m not doing brand work though, sometimes I have thoughts about it. You can read them in publications like Campaign US, Quirk’s and Brand Quarterly (or you can just catch some of my ideas over on LinkedIn!).
But when the moon comes out, you’ll probably catch me conjuring up poetry, short stories, and essays — you can find those published in HuffPost, Brittle Paper, Chronogram, and elsewhere…
